Operations Manager

We’re partnering with a well-established, growing, meat processor seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily plant operations and drive performance across safety, quality, throughput, and people development. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume protein manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee all production, fabrication, and further-processing operations

Lead and mentor department supervisors and frontline teams

Ensure compliance with food safety, QA, USDA, and regulatory standards

Drive continuous improvement in yields, labor efficiency, and downtime reduction

Partner cross-functionally with Maintenance, QA, Supply Chain, and HR

Champion a safety-first culture and enforce accountability at all levels

Support strategic planning, KPI execution, and operational excellence initiatives

What We’re Looking For :

5+ years of operations or production leadership in meat or protein processing

Strong understanding of USDA, HACCP, GMPs, and plant compliance

Proven experience improving throughput, labor efficiency, and overall plant performance

Skilled communicator with a steady leadership style and the ability to build strong teams
