Location :  Pittsburg, CA

Employment Type :  Per-Diem (1 Day / Week)

Hourly Rate :  $44.81

Position Overview :

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled  Occupational Therapist  to join a Rehabilitation Facility in  Pittsburg, CA . This per-diem role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and helping individuals regain independence in daily activities through therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications :

  • Education :  Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure / Certifications :  Active CA Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Current BLS certification.
  • Experience :  1+ year of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings.
  • Technical Skills :  Proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, adaptive equipment, and EMR documentation.
  • Soft Skills :  Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct evaluations to assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs (activities of daily living).
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and coordination.
  • Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PTs, SLPs, physicians) to optimize care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
