JOB SUMMARY

The Clinic Coordinator works with the Director of Clinic Operations in establishing, developing, planning and organizing operational and educational programs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Supervises, trains, and supports clinic nursing staff, medical volunteers, and sonographers.
  • Delegates clinical responsibilities and evaluates staff performance.
  • Provides clinical mentoring and ongoing competency evaluations.
  • Schedules medical staff and ensures appropriate coverage for clinic operations.
  • Collaborates with the Medical Director to implement new medical programs or training.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Responsible for the oversight of medical and office supply ordering.
  • Assures all logs are meticulously kept.
  • Provides and maintains written reports for the facility where applicable.
  • Coordinates the functions of all clinical areas.
  • Maintains, reviews and revises policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all patient care areas.
  • Responsible for ordering all patient care handouts.
  • Orients new employees about policies and procedures.
  • Conducts reviews and exit interviews with direct reports.
  • Responsible for reviewing and recording employee hours and PTO.
  • Assures that paid and unpaid staff receive adequate in-services and training.
  • Coordinates ancillary services provided to the patient.
  • Provides new staff orientation.
  • Works with patient and volunteer services coordinator to schedule volunteers.
  • Collaborates with Director of Patient Services to access conversion rates, no show, cancellation rates and testing performed.
  • Assures equipment, supplies and staff are available and in good working order.
  • Plans and coordinates paid and unpaid staff education programs.
  • Coordinates / conducts E H R training and concurrent review.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Serves as the "face" of CPCI in the local community
  • Builds relationships with local universities and churches to increase awareness, including, but not limited to, tabling at services, speaking to community groups, etc.
  • Provides active outreach to other pro-life organizations including Students for Life, Medical Students for Life, TPUSA, and all faith-based campus groups.

    • JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS :

  • Full agreement with Community Pregnancy Clinics, Inc. (CPCI) governing documents and policies, particularly as to CPCI's philosophy and principals expressed therein.
  • Overtly support, articulate, and act in accordance with CPCI's mission, vision, and values.
  • Follow all guidelines in CPCI's Employee Handbook and Mission Statement.
  • Believes in the sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception through natural death.
  • Expresses a desire to reach at-risk patients considering abortion.
  • Strong qualities of spiritual leadership and ability to encourage team members and clients.
  • Ability to show Christ-centered care, compassion, and understanding to those in need.
  • Must be able to plan and organize work well.
  • Must exhibit comprehensive knowledge of pregnancy center counseling, STI and pregnancy testing and underlying principles of pregnancy center clinic procedures.
  • Must display knowledge of organization, functions and policies of other facility areas and how they relate to patient care.
  • Must display thorough knowledge of pregnancy center-based counseling.
  • Must display basic knowledge of management and personnel administration.
  • Must display knowledge of equipment and supplies used in a medical office.
  • Must display knowledge of payroll processing.
  • Ability to work with committees as required.
  • Knowledge of pro-life healthcare practices and trauma-informed care is beneficial.

    • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

  • Graduate of an accredited school with a B.A. / B.S. (required)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in Florida (preferred)
  • CPR / BLS certification (required); ultrasound training or willingness to be trained in limited obstetric ultrasound (preferred).
  • Proficiency in women's health, prenatal care, and STI education.

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods while performing ultrasound procedures.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms to operate ultrasound equipment and assist patients.
  • Ability to safely assist patients on and off the exam table, including bending, reaching, twisting, and occasional lifting (typically up to 25 pounds).
  • Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination, sufficient to perform diagnostic imaging and operate technical equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Occasional exposure to emotionally sensitive situations and topics, including crisis pregnancies.
