Laboratory Technician (Oak Creek)

Job Title : Laboratory Technician II

Location : Oak Creek, WI 53154

Duration : 6+ Months

Pay Rate : $24 / HR On W2

Responsibilities :

Follows all client EH&S and safety guidelines.

Preparation and application of liquid coating products and using spectrophotometers to measure color. Independently plans and organizes tasks following a discussion of objectives and procedures with the supervisor. Observes unusual results and suggests possible root causes.

Able to juggle multiple projects concurrently.

Makes smooth transitions between projects or situations.

Builds on past experiences to improve efficiency.

Requirements :

Two (2) to five (5) or more years lab experience preferred.

High School diploma or GED is required.

Must be able to wear a respirator, comfortable with hands-on benchwork, and working with complex equipment.

Previous work in a coatings laboratory environment preferred.

Color matching experience a plus.
