Position : ALLIED-Certified Cath Lab Tech (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Maintain and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Engage in performance evaluations and set personal improvement goals.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.

Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes.

Utilize data and metrics to assess and improve work performance.

Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.

Document patient information and procedures accurately and timely.

Support the development of new protocols and best practices.

Assist in the preparation and cleanup of the Cath Lab environment.

Experience / Qualifications

Must possess an ALLIED certification for Cath Lab Technicians.

Experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic Cath Lab procedures.

Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures.

Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting Cath Lab equipment.

Effective communication skills to explain procedures to patients.

Ability to monitor and report patient vital signs accurately.

Experience in documenting patient information accurately and promptly.

Ability to utilize data to assess and improve personal performance.

Willingness to collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient care.
