Fleet Sustainment Site Operations Manager
Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a results-driven and dedicated Fleet Sustainment Site Operations Manager to join our Global Security team. Come join Mission Technologies! Essential Job Responsibilities
Lead Global Operations and Sustainment contract from a Government Owned, Contractor Operated facility in Oxnard, California
Ensure adequate and timely staffing of all programs to include professional development of all assigned personnel. Conduct individual performance assessments and successor planning.
Maintain close contact with customers to make requisite and timely adjustments to programs.
Work with all functional departments as required to ensure continued customer satisfaction, compliance with corporate policies and standards, and to maintain high ethical standards.
Collaborate with senior leadership, providing insights on market trends, competitive intelligence, and strategic opportunities.
Communicate periodic progress, status updates, and risk assessments to senior management. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Processes and Procedures across MPSF / MMRC facilities in support of maintenance, embark / debark, modernization, engineering, sustainment, logistics, security, facilities, testing and operations.
Personally model HII values of integrity, safety, honesty, engagement, responsibility and performance.
Responsible for overseeing the implementation of standard processes and planning for the LCS Mission Package Design, Engineering, Production, and Sustainment (DEP&S) Program. Key responsibilities include :
Supporting the operations of the Mission Package Facility (MOSF) and facilitating maintenance on various mission modules.
Ensuring the availability of facility, materials, and personnel for maintenance and sustainment operations.
Leading a government and contractor team in executing sustainment operations and providing technical expertise.
Participating in LCS MM operations and maintenance planning meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
Top Secret security clearance eligible; Must possess a current Secret security clearance.
Client requirements : Bachelors in managerial, construction, civil or general engineering fields or a minimum of 25 years of experience was gained because of in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in the related field.
15 years of experience with systems engineering of military systems used in a Navy environment
20 years operations and fleet support experience.
Minimum five (5) years of experience with systems engineering of military systems used in a Navy environment and a minimum 10 years of experience with DoD / Navy program and / or project management supporting Industrial and Field Site Operations.
Five (5) years of experience of direct facility management.
Three (3) years experience with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Processes and Procedures across all MPSF / MMRC facilities in support of maintenance, embark / debark, modernization, engineering, sustainment, logistics, security, facilities, testing and operations.
Five (5) years experience project management of personnel and resources.
Three (3) years experience with secured, classified facility management and security protocols.
Preferred Requirements
Master's degree in Business Administration, construction, civil or general engineering related fields.
Littoral Combat Ship Mission Modules or small Unmanned Surface Vessel program support.
Experience in support of Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) and Mission Module Readiness Centers (MMRCs).
