Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the . These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. NEWS Producer
FOX 7 Austin is looking for an overnight producer for our Morning Show. Shift is 11:00 PM–8:00 AM.
Position oversees the overnight development, preparation, and production of content for early-morning newscasts. This position plays a critical role in shaping the day’s first newscast by identifying breaking news, developing enterprise and follow-up stories, and preparing content that informs and engages viewers starting their day. The Producer must be creative, energetic, with strong writing skills, well informed, well read and be willing to take chances and try new things.
This role requires creativity, urgency, and decisiveness, with a focus on delivering compelling, accurate, and timely news content under tight deadlines. The Producer works collaboratively with newsroom staff to ensure the strongest possible start to the broadcast day.
