Production Supervisor

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor is expected to lead motivate and oversee assigned department (s) in the Shop operations. The Production Supervisor ensures the team is meeting safety requirements directing work efforts job deadline dates and ensuring the team produces a consistent quality product. The position will provide technical guidance regarding the installation maintenance testing rebuilding and repair of power equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the productivity training and communications of assigned department / team.
• Responsible for interviewing and hiring of team members.
• Evaluate performance of team members. Provide informal and formal coaching and mentoring sessions as appropriate.
• Participate in hiring of additional employees for team as business needs dictate.
• Manages jobs and schedules / assigns work for employees. Coordinate / communicate with Manager and other applicable departments.
• Trains mentors communicates with staff on technical safety company training and works to maintain procedures and create best practices for the shop floor. Create maintain communicate and adhere to documented processes and procedures.
• Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment compliance with electrical codes and adherence to safety regulations.
• Assist with electrical system installation troubleshooting and repair as needed.
• Purchase supplies ensure adequate inventory plan budgets prioritize purchases prepare cost estimates and document purchases.
• Observe all safety rules and Best Practices; Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate a continual effort to improve operations decrease turnaround times streamline work processes and work cooperatively with other departments to provide quality and seamless operation.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

Job : Full-Time

Location : Los Angeles CA

Travel : Up to 5%

Compensation : Pay ranges from $85000 $105000 (depending on skillset and experience) per year.

Relocation : Not offered for this role.
