Duration : 12+ months, with potential for permanent hire based on demonstrated skills, capabilities, and knowledge
Payrate : $80 to $90 / hr. on W2

Key Responsibilities :
Design high density electronics packaging for large scale systems using innovative mechanical techniquesCollaborate closely with cross functional teams to gather requirements, share insights, and align on design goalsPerform tolerance analyses to ensure parts meet functional and manufacturing requirementsTranslate high level requirements or problem statements into actionable design concepts, validate through analysis and prototyping, and present findings in design reviews to peers.Conduct and clearly communicate structural analyses using hand calculations and FEA toolsContribute to large scale projects as part of a high-performance multidisciplinary teamCreate detailed part and assembly drawings using GD&T standardsManage CAD files and design data using SolidWorks PDMRequired Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of professional experienceQuality and process improvement background- Six Sigma or Design for Six Sigma certifications desiredStrong background in electronics packaging including PCBA and PCB development processesProficiency in SolidWorks CAD and PDM softwareDeep understanding of machined and sheet metal part design; experience with injection molding castings and 3D printing is highly desirableFamiliarity with locating features datum structures and ASME Y14.5M GD&T standardsHands-on experience assembling prototypes and troubleshooting mechanical issuesProficiency with Client Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TeamsIdeal Candidate Qualities :
