About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2+ years of recent Critical Care experience required with a preference for experience caring for neurosurgical patients, vent management, and EVD.

License : NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.

Certifications : BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, Telemetry, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours required.

Must-Have :

• Experience in critical care settings.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care.
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
• Effective documentation practices.

Description :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.

The nurse plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patients' needs.

Identifying patient needs and determining priorities for care is essential through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

The nurse develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.

Initiating assessments based on patients' problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework is part of the role.

Therapeutic nursing interventions are performed as needed.

The nurse manages care of patients and documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.

Advocating for evidence-based practice care standards and supporting the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery is also required.

Patient-centric care is provided in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Weekends and holidays are required as needed.

A float requirement may include working with MICU, SICU, and CVICU.
