Software Developer (Junior, Mid-Level, Senior)

Location : Alexandria, VA (80% Remote)

Clearance Required : Secret

Travel : Up to 80%

About the Role

We are seeking Software Developers at the Junior, Mid-Level, and Senior tiers to support mission-focused development projects. In this role, you will build and maintain web applications and user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features and functionality. This position requires a strong understanding of modern frameworks, clean coding practices, and a focus on creating scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain web applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and user needs.
Create clean, efficient, maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Work with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React), CSS frameworks (Material Design, Bootstrap, Foundation).
Participate in UI development, data analysis, visualization, and software design.
Apply Agile methodologies with tools such as JIRA, Git, GitLab, and BitBucket.
Write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with team members.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

Experience with JavaScript visualization libraries (Leaflet, D3).

Node / Express and API development.

Keycloak, database design, Docker, Kubernetes.

Experience developing in the Cloud (AWS, Azure) or in closed environments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

1+ years of relevant experience (Junior); additional experience required for Mid-Level and Senior tiers.

Active Secret security clearance .

Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
