This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment where you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing sophisticated machinery and equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of our production machinery and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment, test new machinery, and implement regular maintenance procedures. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime. Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. Keep a record of all maintenance and repair work done, including a detailed description of the machine error, the diagnosis, and the repair work completed. Monitor the use and inventory of spare parts, equipment, and other maintenance supplies, and order new supplies as needed. Collaborate with the production team to understand their needs and ensure machinery and equipment are in good working order. Comply with all safety and health regulations when operating equipment or performing tasks. Remain updated on current technology and machinery related to the manufacturing industry. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing or similar industrial setting. Proven mechanical and electrical skills, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components and systems. Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical problems quickly and efficiently. In-depth knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Strong complex problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and implement solutions. Ability to handle physical workload and to work in a variety of weather conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
