About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required. Willing to accept first-year travelers.

License : Valid state nursing license required

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BCLS (AHA) required

Must-Have :

• Experience with both medical-surgical and critical care / ICU checklists is essential.
• Comfortable with patient ratios of 4-6 : 1 for medical-surgical and 2-3 : 1 for ICU.
• Must float between various units as needed.
• Available for the first two weeks of assignment for orientation requirements.
• Every other weekend availability is required.

Description :

This is a float position.

The nurse will float to different units as necessary.

The nurse will be expected to manage both medical-surgical and critical care patients.

Patient care of adults and geriatrics will be a primary focus.

Interdisciplinary support will be provided by various teams including Therapy Services, Pharmacy, and others.

Experience in handling diverse patient diagnoses will be beneficial.

A commitment to patient care and safety is paramount in this role.

Flexibility and adaptability to cover staffing needs and changes are essential.

The nurse must adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Vaccination requirements include a flu vaccine, with medical exemptions only.
