Quality, Risk And Patient Safety Coordinator
Organize and coordinate quality, risk and patient safety program activities and workflow.
Coordinate quality, risk and / or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems / performance measures.
Support activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards.
Analyze and report on data collected from a variety of sources. Develop detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note : Required professional licensure / certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
3+ years of experience in health-care quality, population health, or a payer-side HEDIS audit / abstraction role strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience with the auditing / abstraction of clinical data points from medical records, with a strong focus on HEDIS measures.
Experience with value-based care programs (e.g., Medicare Advantage, ACOs, Commercial risk) is strongly preferred.
Expert working knowledge of quality measurement frameworks.
Clinic licensure (e.g., RN, LPN) or a background in Health Information Management (HIM) is a plus.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
