Overview of A6 West Neurology :

Imagine yourself as part of our dynamic team on A6 West Neurology, a 36-bed med-surg neuro tele unit specializing in providing exceptional care to patients with various neurological conditions. We focus on stroke care and manage diverse conditions including myasthenia gravis, encephalopathies, dementia, brain, and spinal tumors. What makes us unique is our exclusive Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), where patients undergo 24 / 7 monitoring for seizure activity. In the EMU, we conduct tests such as tilt table testing, strobe light testing, sleep deprivation, and medication adjustments to diagnose epilepsy and tailor treatment plans, making a tangible impact on our patients' lives.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."
