Our Lady of the Presentation Early Childhood Center has an Early Childhood Aide position. We are currently looking for energetic, responsible, loving people who enjoy working with children. This is a part-time position, and we hire for summer only, school year only, or year-round. The preferred schedule is usually Monday through Friday with hours 2:30 PM-6:00 PM, but we can also accommodate fewer days and hours a week.

• interact with children, communicate with parents, and light housekeeping
• Establish a consistent disciplinary approach that promotes self-direction and a positive self-image; set high standards for student behavior and manage inappropriate behavior effectively.
• Cooperate with school administration; work effectively with all staff members to promote positive relationships with students and parents.
• At all times, demonstrate professional responsibility for enforcing school policies and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and display sound judgment in dress and general behavior.
• Care for the physical needs of children
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be physically able to perform the job of a teacher aide of young children
• Must consent to a background check and Code of Conduct Policy
• Must complete online or in-person training before hire.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old
