AssemblerLocation : Fresno, CAFLSA Classification : Non-Exempt / HourlyHourly Compensation Range : $21.00 - $28.00(Compensation is based on years of relevant experience and skillset level.)PurposeThe Pump Assembler at Trillium Flow Technologies performs mechanical assembly operations to build submersible and surface drive pumps. Working under minimal supervision, this role is responsible for interpreting technical documentation, assembling components, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are met.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions to plan and execute assembly operations.Perform mechanical assembly of various pump components including suction cases, couplings, bowls, impellers, mechanical seals, seal pots, thrust pots, piping, motors, and discharge heads.Use a variety of tools and equipment such as overhead cranes, pneumatic wrenches, hydraulic presses, electric drills, chain tongs, and hand tools.Verify parts against documentation for accuracy in number, size, type, and material.Align and fit components to ensure proper assembly and function.Detect and report faulty operations, defective materials, or discrepancies in documentation to the Assembly Supervisor.Occasionally retrieve parts from storage areas using a lift truck.Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.Observe all safety and ISO 9001 / 14001 Requirements.Other duties as assigned.Education / ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum 2 years of industrial manufacturing experience preferred.Minimum 2 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.Familiarity with hand and power tools used in mechanical assembly.Physical Demands / Work EnvironmentRequires frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of heavy objects over 50 pounds.Involves moderate risks or discomforts such as working around moving parts and rotating equipment.Routine use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and ear plugs.Must adhere to all safety precautions and company policies.Trillium Flow is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
