Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Clinton, Maryland (Zip : 20735) – Greater Washington, D.C. area

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 16, 2026

Shift : Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Schedule : 3x12 or 4x12 per week (36 or 48 hours / week)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1890-$2030

Call Requirement : 36 hours per 6 weeks (onsite within 45 minutes)

Weekend / Holiday Coverage : Every other weekend & holiday required

Floating : Required to float to related units such as Mom / Baby

Registered Nurse Qualifications

2+ years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery RN experience

At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment

Active compact or Maryland RN license

C-EFM certification (NCC)

ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications

Previous charge nurse experience

Ability to float to similar clinical units

Two supervisor references

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver expert care to high-risk labor and delivery patients, including neonates and adults

Assist with high-risk deliveries and circulate for C-sections

Monitor and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns

Triage obstetrical patients and manage high-risk antepartum cases

Utilize external fetal monitoring and advanced obstetric nursing skills

Float to Mom / Baby and similar clinical support units as required

Participate in self-scheduling and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Ensure compliance with documentation and hospital policies
