Manager Financial Planning and Analysis

The Manager Financial Planning and Analysis, Central, supports leadership in near and long term financial planning, reporting and analysis. The Manager is responsible for overseeing staff that support with financial modeling, forecasting and delivering on key processes and tracking of JetBlue's financial results. This crewmember also develops presentations for Senior Management, and the Executive Leadership Team. The Manager also assists with other ad hoc analysis as requested. This position reports to the Senior Manager FP&A, Central.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Provide strategic guidance and sound business decision support to leaders through proper financial analysis, collaboration and good thinking
• Support the overall capital budget planning process and tracking of capital spend
• Ownership of the FP&A planning system, supporting data management, system enhancements, and partnership with IT on overall maintenance
• Promote communication and collaboration between the operational departments and other workgroups
• Instill ownership and ensure accountability amongst operational leadership through education and awareness
• Create education / awareness and facilitate the utilization of our Corporate policies and procedures
• Partner in creating and maintaining forecasts and long term planning
• Analyze profitability trends
• Perform ad hoc analysis requested by senior management
• Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, goal achievement and development
• Partner in creating and maintaining short and long-term forecasts
• Other duties as assigned
