We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team Full-Time at Coronado Ridge Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Henderson, NV! Come join the in-house rehab team at this beautiful 121 bed SNF! Rated 5 STAR Overall for short-term rehab!

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities in daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists and case managers, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, progress, and strategies for continued improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with facility policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to patients with disabilities, ensuring a caring and empathetic approach throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Stay updated on the latest practices in occupational therapy, anatomy, physiology, and case management.

Requirements

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in skilled nursing facilities or inpatient settings.
  • Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.
