Job Summary :

To perform all duties related to assisting the surgeon in the care of the patient in the surgical setting.

Education :

Position requires a certificate from a college or technical school or 6 months- 1 years equivalent combination of education and experience in related area.

Registration / Certification / Licensure :

Certified Surgical Technician preferred

Experience :

Position requires 6 months -1 years related experience.

Other Requirements :

Maintains unit specific and hospital competencies according to policy requirements

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and / or any other department requirements.
