Program Manager

PURPOSE : The Program Manager is responsible for contract performance and management of all business aspects of customer assigned contracts applying a cradle to grave concept. Serves as a Business Manager for assigned contracts and is responsible for complete implementation process completion and final shipment(s) to customer.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage the internal process of the assigned program(s) and drive an On-Time-Delivery (OTD) the meets / exceeds customer expectations
• Leads and coordinates product development from contract receipt through each contract phase through full cycle production
• Margin management of the program(s)

Manages cost and budget schedule and performance of program

Communicates with customers to address manufacturing issues and implement solutions includes internal team and suppliers and

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

While performing the duties of this job the employee may frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud when on the shop floor. This position also has a role in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching crawling and climbing all day. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move items over 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust in the office environment the employee is in a sedentary role however some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
