Job Description
· Develops, maintains, and enhances NSF web content and functionality within Drupal-based environments.
· Implements layouts, components, and templates using Drupal CMS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Ensures responsive design, performance optimization, and Section 508/WCAG compliance.
· Integrates multimedia content and supports publishing/editing requests via Drupal, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
· Applies U.S. Web Design System principles and federal web best practices.
· Troubleshoots issues and resolves tickets within established service levels.
· Collaborates with designers and UX staff to deliver user-centered experiences.
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or a related field; or
· Equivalent professional experience.
Experience / Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of professional web development experience.
· At least 3 years hands-on experience with Drupal CMS.
· Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Experience with accessibility remediation and federal web standards.
· Experience supporting enterprise or federal websites preferred.
