Description

Data Engineer providing specialized infrastructure development and database architecture support for the Ship Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring (SHAREM) program at the Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC). This engineering-focused position emphasizes building, developing, and creating robust technical solutions within the Naval Ship Tracking, Reporting, and Analysis Tool (NSTRAT) system and FLANKSPEED IL6 AZURE cloud environment. The role combines systems engineering expertise with advanced application development capabilities to engineer comprehensive data analysis tools and create automated solutions that support exercise reconstruction and analysis activities for the REM program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Systems Engineering & Infrastructure Development

• Engineer and develop the Naval Ship Tracking, Reporting, and Analysis Tool (NSTRAT) System infrastructure to ensure optimal application and service performance.
• Build robust troubleshooting solutions and develop system architecture improvements within the FLANKSPEED IL6 AZURE cloud services environment.
• Design and implement system monitoring solutions and create automated performance optimization capabilities.
• Develop technical solutions and engineer system improvements to resolve NSTRAT system issues through FLANKSPEED hosting services coordination.
• Build and implement system updates and maintenance frameworks to ensure continuous operational capability.
