Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Richardson, Texas. This role involves handling complex accounting tasks, delivering accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to provide detailed insights into organizational performance.

Process and validate complex journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

Allocate monthly expenses across branches and reconcile intercompany transactions to maintain balanced financial reporting.

Conduct and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, addressing discrepancies while ensuring audit-ready records.

Oversee invoice coding and payment processing for corporate entities, ensuring timely and accurate recording.

Track and manage earnings credits for corporate offices and branches, maintaining consistency across all financial records.

Collaborate with senior management and accounting teams to communicate financial results and address inquiries.

Prioritize and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all accounting tasks are completed efficiently.

Support external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

Contribute to system and process enhancements, including automation initiatives, to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.

A minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience is essential.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Experience with monthly close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with large ERP systems is preferred.

Proven ability to analyze variances across financial statements and communicate findings effectively.

Prior experience in multi-entity or multi-location organizations is advantageous.
