Psychiatry - Outpatient Opportunity in Mattoon, IL Full-Time Position -Outpatient psychiatry team includes one adult psychiatrist, one child / adolescent psychiatrist, and three adult psychiatry APPs.-Seeking a replacement for the current adult psychiatrist's future retirement.-Role includes seeing high-acuity patients and serving as supervising physician for APPs.-Ideal candidate : upcoming 2025 or 2026 graduate.-Clinic located in a state-of-the-art, specially designed facility with renovations completed in 2024, prioritizing patient and provider safety.-Facility also offers a 16-bed inpatient adult psychiatry unit for direct admissions.-Focus on therapy and medication management (not an addiction or Suboxone center).Compensation & Benefits-$330,000 base salary + bonus based on RVU production.-$40,000 sign-on bonus.-$30,000 total retention bonus (paid in $10,000 installments at the end of years 1, 2, and 3).-Quality bonus up to 10% of base salary (eligible upon earning base salary).-33 days of paid time off.-5 days + $6,000 CME allowance annually.-No after-hours call.Facility Overview-Not-for-profit regional hospital serving a ten-county region.-Rapidly growing and adding specialties.-Physician and employee satisfaction consistently ranked in the top decile nationally.-Supportive and collaborative workplace culture.Community Highlights-Safe neighborhoods, minimal traffic, community festivals, and abundant outdoor recreation.-Convenient access to major cities : Champaign / Urbana - 40 min, St. Louis - 2 hrs, Indianapolis - 2 hrs, Chicago - 3 hrs.-Charleston is home to Eastern Illinois University.-Growing dining and retail options, including a $65 million sports complex opening in 2025.
