Summary : St. Anthony Hospital is looking for Urgent December coverage with their Gastroenterology team. Site requires ERCP to be considered.

BID DUE DATE : Nov 19th at 5p EST!

Rate Caps for Submission :

Malpractice Must be included in rates.

Orientation $262.50 - half the hourly / callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours

On Call (Daily) $5200 and below - Per 24 hours to include 8 hours gratis"

24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - $7800 - Per 24 hours to include 8 hours gratis"

Call Back $525 and below Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.

Holiday Call Back $787.50 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.

Average callback hours : 11.5 hours

Schedule / Availability Requirements :

  • All shifts end the following morning at 7a.
  • Dec 7
  • Jan-Mar dates will be presented once Dec 7th is filled.

Details :

  • 24 hour call - 7a-7a
  • 5-7 days per month, ongoing into 2025.
  • Setting : Inpatient
  • Level 1 Trauma
  • Required Procedures / Job duties : Scoping, ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleed, Evaluation of GI problems.
  • EMR : EPIC
  • Support Staff : None
  • Reason for coverage : Gaps in coverage and locum requiring breaks June / July / Aug 2025.

    • EMR Required Training :

  • Credentialing Preapp and full app must be completed and submitted to move provider into "applicant in training" to generate AD account and begin EMR account set up. Once AD account creation begins it can take up to 5 days to create account.
  • Module (learn lessons) Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
  • EMR Virtual (PPL) training Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed at least one week prior to the providers first day.
  • First Day Details - Site requires completion of EMR Modules and training, before first day details can be released.
  • All candidates must complete the following EMR questionnaire and detail it in the notes section of the candidates submission at time of presentation.

    • What are the # of years of epic experience they have?

  • When was the last time (MM / YYYY) that they used Epic?
  • What is the name of the last facility the provider used EPIC?
  • Can you provide me with a photo large enough to add to a badge and not become pixelated?
  • Can you disclose the provider's time zone for scheduling the virtual epic training?
  • We need the provider's best phone # to use for call shifts while working. Can you disclose?
  • We need the provider's best email, to use for programs while working onsite and the preapplication. Can you please send us their personal email address?

    • Travel Preferences :

  • Preferred Lodging : Candidates must be willing to stay at one of the preferred hotels only and must request the prenegotiated rate at time of booking to be considered.

  • Towne Place Suites, Marriott Reference : SAH / St. Anthony Hospital

  • Air Travel : Local / drive-in candidates - Highly preferred, but not required
  • Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission.

    • Credentialing Information :

  • Timeframe : 60-90 day standard, Emergency privs 1-2 weeks with clean file.
  • Credentialing with other facilities? Yes
  • Requirements : Self inquiry NPDB report must be provided and CO license or Active IMLC to release preapplication.

  • Patient population : Adult, Geriatric, Adolescent
  • Admissions, 8-10 new patients & follow ups. 5-8 scopes per day.
  • 15 years old and 50 kilograms for a pediatric trauma. Otherwise, Pediatric patients are not admitted to the facility.

    • GI does not admit they are just a consult service.

    24 / 7 intensivists & hospitalists at site.

  • 24 / 7 Trauma Services at site.

  • Board Certified Gastroenterology - [REQUIRED]
  • Active CO License or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) - [REQUIRED]
  • Active DEA - [REQUIRED] Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
  • Candidates must be available for Dec dates to be considered for ongoing dates - [REQUIRED]
  • Candidates must be able to perform ERCP to be considered and are required to note in presentation - [REQUIRED]
  • Candidates must acknowledge they understand the requirement to stay at a preferred hotel from the preferred lodging in job description - [REQUIRED]
  • Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - [REQUIRED]
  • Local / drive-in candidates - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] , will place providers who are local as a Tier 1 provider.
  • Gastroenterology Fellowship - [REQUIRED]
  • Clean Malpractice / background - [REQUIRED] - Candidates with self inquiry NPDB report will be placed with priority over those that dont present with it.
