Fulfillment Technician

Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to partner with a leading innovator in cannabis and hemp formulation technology to fill a Fulfillment Technician role at their food-grade manufacturing facility in Berkeley CA. This temporary position is a minimum 90-day assignment with a high likelihood of extension and the potential to convert to full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

Position Overview

The Fulfillment Technician will be responsible for preparing and processing production and sample orders accurately and efficiently maintaining compliance standards and ensuring a high level of quality throughout the fulfillment process. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a growth mindset and a desire to make a tangible impact within a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process all production and sample orders for cannabis and hemp within established turnaround times.

Execute fulfillment steps including measuring and pouring emulsions labeling products uploading photos in HubSpot and preparing shipments.

Communicate order status to sales account owners and supervisors through HubSpot.

Maintain a clean GMP-compliant workspace.

Update Odoo with accurate and consistent inventory adjustments.

Adhere to all state and federal cannabis and hemp compliance regulations.

Follow SOPs meticulously to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.

Maintain the Fulfillment Queue spreadsheet for visibility on order progress.

Ensure an adequate supply of sample inventory kits and materials.

Qualifications

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong algebra and unit conversion skills.

Experience with food handling or laboratory work preferred.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Passion for the cannabis industry (consumption not required).

Assignment Details

Employment Type : Temporary (minimum 90 days)

Pay Rate : $25$28 / hour (commensurate with experience)

Shift : Monday-Friday normal DAY hours

Potential for Extension : High

Possible Conversion : Full-time employment based on performance

Benefits : Temporary positions through Lighthouse Lab Services do not include standard company benefits (health insurance PTO or retirement plans) during the initial assignment.
