The role at a glance
- Title : New Product Introduction Procurement Analyst
- Focus : Sourcing strategies, supplier qualification, and compliant procurement for early-stage programs.
- Model : Onsite preferred; hybrid considered for the right person.
What you’ll tackle
Co-develop program-aligned sourcing strategies with engineering, quality, and program leaders.Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for prototypes and production, ensuring DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100 compliance.Drive RFQ / RFP cycles, analyze quotations, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery to meet cost and schedule goals.Maintain precise BOM cost roll-ups and thorough sourcing files to support program reviews and audits.Track supplier delivery / quality, mitigate risks, and support make-vs-buy and capability reviews.Participate in design and manufacturability reviews to validate supplier readiness and scalability.Champion continuous improvement, cost reduction, and innovation across the supply base.What sets you up for success
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.5–8+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier engineering—preferably with NPI / NPD experience.Industry exposure in aerospace, defense, automotive, or advanced electronics.Expertise in sourcing methodologies, negotiations, supplier management, and cost analysis.Knowledge of DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100 standards.Hands-on with ERP / sourcing tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Infor) and strong Microsoft Office skills.Growth & rewards
