An academic center in western Massachusetts is adding an OB-Hospitalist to its team. They are the largest multispecialty group in the region.

About the Opportunity :

  • Flexibility with scheduling 12 and 24-hour shifts. Inpatient only
  • No call
  • OB / GYN team includes dedicated physicians, subspecialist support, CNMs, labor and Delivery nurses, and PCTs
  • The OB Hospitalist delivers inpatient obstetrical care on an emergency and routine basis and provides clinical supervision of the OB triage unit, staffed 24 / 7 by experienced Certified Nurse Midwives
  • The department has approximately 4200 deliveries annually, with a high proportion of high-risk pregnancies and a level 3 NICU
  • Practice in an academic environment consisting of 24 OB / GYN residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers
  • Faculty appointment available
  • Flexible schedule
