Pharmacy Technician / Account Manager: Bridging Fulfillment & Client Care

Are you a licensed Pharmacy Technician who excels at both clinical fulfillment and high-level problem-solving? We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician / Account Manager to join our team. This unique hybrid role balances hands-on mail order pharmacy operations with dedicated account management, ensuring that our providers and patients receive seamless, accurate, and efficient service.
Available Shifts (Monday – Friday)
We are currently hiring for the following shifts to support our 24-hour production cycle:
- 2nd Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
The Role: Operational Excellence & Relationship Management
In this position, you will own the lifecycle of an order—from the initial pharmacy fulfillment to the final delivery—while acting as a strategic point of contact for our most important accounts.
Pharmacy Fulfillment & Operations
- Prescription ProcessingProcess and package prescriptions for shipment while adhering strictly to state and federal regulations.
- Quality AssuranceEnsure accurate labeling, comprehensive documentation, and rigorous quality checks for every order.
- Workflow CoordinationAssist in refining daily workflows to maximize efficiency and meet critical daily production and shipping targets.
- ComplianceSupport regulatory standards by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documenting all activities with precision.
Account Management & Communication
- Primary Point of ContactServe as the lead contact for clinics, providers, and high-volume customers, managing their unique needs and escalations.
- Issue ResolutionProactively identify and resolve discrepancies, shipping delays, or fulfillment challenges to prevent service interruptions.
- Client TrackingMonitor order statuses in real-time, providing timely updates to stakeholders and maintaining accurate records in the pharmacy management system.
- Stakeholder CollaborationCoordinate across internal teams—including pharmacists and shipping staff—to ensure seamless service delivery.
What You Bring to the Team
- LicensureMust hold an
active Pharmacy Technician license/registration in the state of practice. - Experience1–3 years of pharmacy technician experience is required; a background in
mail order or specialty pharmacy is highly preferred. - Technical ProficiencyStrong skills in pharmacy management software, shipping systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
- EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent (pharmacy technician training program preferred).
