Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

This position requires working 7 PM to 7 AM shifts.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery unit is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment focused on maternal and infant health.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using state-of-the-art technology, including fetal heart monitors and ultrasound equipment.
  • Assist in deliveries and provide support during C-sections.
  • Deliver nursing care in accordance with unit policies and protocols, with a focus on patient-centered health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health and safety of mothers and newborns.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Must have Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is essential.
