Lead Full-Stack .NET Developer

Chicago, IL – hybrid WFH : days onsite in the loop, days work from home

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Full-Stack Engineer to join our data-focused applications team. Our primary tech stack that you'd be leading is .NET / C on the back-end and React on the front-end. We also use some Python, so if you have Python and .NET experience, even better – the role will lean more back-end, so having experience with Snowflake would be a big nice to have for us as well.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using .NET(C) and React with Vite.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration with front-end applications.
  • Work with relational databases and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (, OAuth).
  • Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using and related libraries (, Redux, React Router).
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize front-end performance for a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with UX / UI designers to translate wireframes and designs into functional components.
  • Integrate front-end and back-end components to create cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack to ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features on time and within scope.
  • Contribute to code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security.
  • Participate in the evaluation and adoption of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Skills we're seeking

  • years of experience with .NET / C Development Must have experience with Core and RESTful API development

    • Must have strong SQL / SQL Server experience

  • years of experience with front-end development using ReactJS
  • Must have experience leading full-stack software development teams
  • Must have great communication skills

    • Nice to haves (in this order)

  • Snowflake experience
  • Python development experience
  • Azure experience Ideally Azure DevOps and / or Azure Service Fabric experience
  • Docker and Kubernetes experience
  • Typescript experience
  • Entity Framework experience
  • Experience with other front-end tools and frameworks such as Webpack or npm / yarn
