[job_card.job_description]Patient Care : Average of 5-12 patients per day across adult (18 beds) and adolescent (5 beds) units Supervision of APPs on-site Consultations : Inpatient, ER, and hospital consults (no telehealth) Conditions Treated : Anxiety, affective, ADD / ADHD, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders Therapies Utilized : Family therapy, group therapy, pharmacotherapy, restraint, and seclusion therapy Documentation System : Cerner Board Certification in Psychiatry (BE not accepted) Iowa License or IMLC - Required Experience Required : Minimum 2 years of inpatient psychiatry experience; familiarity with ages 6+ Experience with Specific Conditions : Must be comfortable treating anxiety, affective disorders, personality and eating disorders, ADD / ADHD, developmental and psychotic disorders, as well as providing family and group therapy. Facility in Davenport, IA seeking Inpatient Psychiatry locums coverage Rates : $290 / hr Facility seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatry coverage on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation from January 6 through July 2025. This position involves inpatient psychiatric care for both adult and adolescent units, along with hospital and ER consults. Schedule :
- Coverage Days : 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
- Shift Hours : 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm; call coverage required
- Dates : January 6 July 2025
- Weeknight and weekend call possible, taking shifts in managing hospital calls / consults every third day.
