Job Description
Position Title : Production Operator
Wage : $22 / hour
Shift : 1st
Hours : 7 : 30am-4pm
We are searching for experienced Production Operator for an open position on 1st shift! This Is an associate to hire opportunity for a company in Kansas City, MO. An ideal candidate will have longevity in their work history, machine operation, manufacturing, and problem-solving experience. If interested, please include an updated work history when applying.
Production Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Read, interpret, and run work orders operating basic PLC control panels, continually reviewing production status to efficiently meet daily and weekly output goals
- Read and interpret blueprints and setup, operate, change-over, and tear down the lines-communicating obstacles proactively as needed to ensure production flows smoothly and efficiently
- Use calipers, gauges, and other hand tools to regularly inspect parts, and perform visual inspections, to ensure they meet quality standards
- Apply labels to the product and enter daily production output into an ERP System, ensuring counts and information are accurate
- Perform light troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on machines to ensure they are in proper working order
- Fill out scrap and reject reports as well as production reports
