Administrative Assistant (Temp to Hire)

Location : Mobile, AL

Schedule : Onsite, Monday-Friday (8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, 40 hours per week)

Pay Rate : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

A professional office in Mobile, AL is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative experience, excellent communication abilities, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates with experience supporting professional or corporate environments are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk and reception duties, including answering phones, greeting guests, and maintaining conference / meeting rooms.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, including preparation, sorting, distribution, FedEx / UPS coordination, and related tasks.
  • Oversee supply and copy room organization; ensure adequate stocking and order supplies as needed.
  • Maintain the breakroom, including ordering supplies and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Handle and protect confidential information and sensitive documents.
  • Assist with tasks related to an upcoming office relocation.
  • Provide additional administrative support as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience

  • 3+ years of administrative experience
  • Experience in a professional office environment preferred
  • Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Pay Details : $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
