Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include :

• Providing professional nursing care for clinic patients under the direction of a Physician(s) and within their scope of practice according to the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Performs clinical care in accordance with nursing standards within the specialty, including determining and monitoring venipuncture or catheter placement / insertion sites and administering IV medication and treatment.
• Verifies necessary information and performs patient assessment and triage.
• Performs prescription prior authorizations and orders prescription refills according to clinic protocols.
• Orders and maintains medical inventory of supplies as needed. Supports the QA / QI process.
• Provides patients, families, and caregivers with health education on infusion / IV treatment and care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary :

Hiring range, based on experience and credentials :

Workdays : This role is primarily based in the Gateway Medical Office Building. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, four 10-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm). Day off : Thursdays
