Position Summary
The Director of Clinical Fidelity and Operations is responsible for oversight of continuous quality improvement and adherence to multiple fidelity models. Ensures procedural are alignment and implementation for efficient, effective, and productive management of, and across, all clinical services. This role includes leadership of clinical teams, supervision, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and the implementation of strategic initiatives to support and ensure clinical excellence. Works closely with the Insurance and Operational Compliance Officer
Essential Functions:
- Oversee and manage clinical aspects of the day-to-day operations of the organization, including direct supervision of Clinical Director and other applicable clinical staff.
- Oversee clinical employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcome achievement.
- Develops actionable service improvement strategies and plans that ensure alignment with organizational short-term and long-term objectives through the development and use of PDSA or other quality improvement action plan in partnership with
- Develop strategies for improving clinical operational efficiencies while improving service levels and reducing turnover and operational costs.
- Works closely with clinical management team in the identification and development of all clinical employees and systems improvements.
- Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and required follow up actions.
- Work closely with agency management team(s) to discuss company-wide opportunities for process improvement, identified obstacles to success, and to develop and implement enhancements to standardization protocols.
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in relevant clinical partnerships and collaborative efforts.
- Develop, monitor, provide, and model an effective supervision and professional development routine.
- Monitor and assure quality of own and departmental work.
- Process Discovery, optimization, and implementation.
- Participate in development and updates of clinical policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.
- Oversight of payroll and clinical departmental budget(s).
- Oversee hiring and onboarding processes to ensure the recruitment of qualified clinical professionals.
- Facilitate training and development programs for new and existing clinical staff.
- Implement processes to track and achieve clinical performance benchmarks.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of clinical reports to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery.
- Utilize organizational systems to manage and analyze clinical data effectively.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Insurance and Operational Compliance Officer.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Master’s degree: Preferred: Social Science(s), Public Health, Healthcare Operations.
- 5+ years in a managerial role w/ 2+ years in mid to upper leadership position.
- Minimum five years supervisory experience in Behavioral Healthcare or closely related system.
- Ability to identify, develop and present process improvements.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
- Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire individuals across departments and disciplines.
- High visibility and accountability
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare quality standards, accreditation requirements, and compliance regulations (CARF, ASS, HIPAA, CMS).
