We are searching for the best talent for an Embedded Software Test Engineer.

Collaborate with embedded software engineers hardware teams and systems engineers to identify testing requirements and troubleshooting issues.

Work with internal and external partner resources to test and support release software in a timely manner per SOPs.

Enhancethecapabilitiesofthetestautomationframework and CI / CD pipelines toimprove testing efficiency and coverage of embedded software firmware and hardware integration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technicians to design and develop test fixtures.

Perform root cause analysis on software failures and collaborate on corrective actions.

Integrates Johnson & Johnsons Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making

Qualifications :

B.S / M.S. in computer science math computer engineering electrical engineering or an engineering field or equivalent work experience.

2 years of manual and automated testing experience on an embedded platform with real-time operating system (micro-controller microprocessor).

Experience in writing / scripting python and windows shell programming.

Prior experience in designing fixtures and tools for test automation.

Familiaritywithbehavior-drivensoftwaredevelopment&automationtesting.

Familiarity with Jira Jenkins Jama Gitlab and other DevOps managed applications.

Comfortable with system-level troubleshooting using electrical and software tools.

Knowledge of QNX would be a big plus.

Experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of cardiovascular physiology would be a big PLUS.

Willing to travel 5% of the time to meet with customers to assess product performance in the field and gather user needs.

Highly collaborative with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Self-motivated and willing to learn and explore new technologies.

Independent efficient and able to manage competing priorities.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $89000 to $143750.

The Company maintains highly competitive performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar / performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.
