Overview
Trainer / Content Developer role at Jobs via Dice. The Direct Client (DHHS) seeks contract resources to assist with the training and implementation of the Child Welfare Information System (CWIS). The trainer / content developer analyzes CWIS functionality to develop and deliver classroom facilitator-led learning solutions and eLearning courses to support system implementation. This position collaborates with the Training Lead, Business and Agile Teams, Development Team, and subject matter experts to design training, develop course materials, maintain templates and scripts, and revise training materials for instructional training of adult learners. The resource will also provide effective classroom and virtual facilitation of training for all levels of employees who oversee and administer Child Welfare programs in CWIS.
Responsibilities
Analyze CWIS functionality to develop and deliver classroom facilitator-led learning solutions and eLearning courses.
Design training and develop course materials; maintain Adobe FrameMaker templates and scripts.
Maintain and revise training materials for instructional training of adult learners.
Provide effective and creative classroom and virtual facilitation of training for all levels of employees managing Child Welfare programs in CWIS.
Collaborate with Training Lead, Business and Agile Teams, Development Team, and subject matter experts to understand requirements.
Qualifications
Experience in curriculum design and developing training materials for adult learners (Required : 3 Years).
Understands social services programs that drive county, regional, and state staff efforts (Required : 3 Years).
Research and evaluate NC FAST case management software to translate functionality into effective learning materials (Required : 3 Years; Highly desired 3 Years).
Ability to assist with scheduling, preparing for, and participating in quality assurance checks on training materials (Required : 3 Years).
Experience working with training developers, program SMEs, technical support, and others to ensure training materials are effective (Required : 3 Years).
Experience in business analysis and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (Required : 3 Years).
Experience in Learning Management System (LMS) technologies such as Moodle, XML, HTML (Required : 3 Years).
Experience in designing and delivering computer-based training and instructional design with learning program design systems (Required : 3 Years).
Experience with training software such as Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Photoshop, Visio or similar tools (Required : 3 Years).
Experience developing dynamic instructional materials using interactions and simulations to create engaging content (Required : 3 Years).
Experience developing interactive media presentations to enhance online learning (Required : 3 Years).
Experience leading training sessions in multiple formats (in person, virtual, webinar) (Required : 3 Years).
Ability to provide basic application software and hardware support (Highly desired).
Strong understanding of internet concepts and web technology (Highly desired).
Clear oral and written communication and ability to work with diverse groups (Highly desired).
Experience evaluating student progress and making recommendations for continued training participation and curriculum (Required : 3 Years).
Experience providing feedback on learning curriculum and methodology to ensure program relevance and user comprehension (Required : 3 Years).
Experience with classroom training preparation, facility management, course scheduling, and student registration (Required : 3 Years).
Knowledge of NC FAST and the Medicaid Program in NC (Highly desired : 2 Years).
