Our client is a $1B manufacturer with locations throughout the US and is seeking a Training Specialist.
Position .
·There are already curricula in place for all programs from entry-level, service, engineering, and leadership development which must be tweaked and formalized for each program.
· Some content will be outsourced or provided by the various departments; some will be personally delivered.
·Will be the coordinator for all training programs. Limited travel to other sites on occasion.
·Must have excellent communication and coordination skills and will be dealing with management, executives, and vendors to provide all training programs.
Requirements
·Must have excellent communication and coordination skills
BS/BA Degree
·Must be able to travel 10% of the time.
·1-2 years of professional training experience required (i.e., content creation, needs analysis, and training delivery).
·Solid understanding of adult-learning principles.
·Solid understanding of current training modalities (virtual, e-learning and AI)
·Strong business writing skills.
·Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
·High energy and engaging; enjoys working and interacting with people.
·Highly collaborative; strong customer-service orientation
·Very hands-on; comfortable with handling details and administrative duties.
·Strong listening skills
