Position Overview

The Collections Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely payments from customers and maintaining accurate financial records. This role involves proactive communication with clients regarding delinquent accounts and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently. You will be a key part of the collections department, helping Barco maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

Follow up regularly with customers who have past-due balances

Maintain accurate documentation and account notes

Communicate effectively with customers and their A / R departments to resolve payment issues

Escalate problem accounts and communicate updates to management

Provide weekly reports and updates to leadership

Run and update daily financial reports

Assist with additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or degree preferred

1–3 years of relevant experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field

English fluency required

Work Environment

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting and computer work in an office environment.
