Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting a wide range of administrative and support functions. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for developing effective systems for managing administrative needs, distributing institutional communications, proactively setting short-term and long-term priorities, and anticipating and completing tasks needed to execute identified projects as directed. The Administrative Coordinator provides regular updates on the progress of these tasks and projects.

Candidates MUST meet the following basic qualifications to be considered for this role :
Three or more years of related experience. Education beyond high school may count towards experience.
Additional Qualifications and Skills :
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion. Competency using a variety of computer software. May be tested on appropriate computer skills as required. Keyboarding speed (wpm) may be required as appropriate to job duties. Tessitura knowledge a plus. Demonstrates a passion for and familiarity with the performing arts industry.
Additional Information
This position has a 3-month orientation and review period.
This is a position that is based at a Harvard campus location with some remote work options available. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
