Sr. Cooker

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Cooker to join our team. The Sr. Cooker will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the cooking operations in our kitchen. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standards, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and providing guidance and training to the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the preparation of all food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Coordinate the work of the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to improve skills and efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies and ingredients
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new menu items and recipes
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or concerns related to food quality or preparation

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional cook or chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of cooking techniques and the ability to prepare a wide range of dishes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and train a team of kitchen staff
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals
