[job_card.job_description]Transitioning a monolithic codebase into efficient microservices. Establishing and fortifying robust RAG pipelines and LLM workflows. Designing secure, compliant, API-first systems. Implementing eventual consistency patterns utilizing DynamoDB. Expanding infrastructure to accommodate substantial user and traffic growth. Frontend : React, Tailwind Backend : Python, Django Infrastructure : AWS (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB), Kubernetes, Redis, Postgres (RDS) Demonstrated experience in early-stage startups (Seed or Series A), driven by a rapid delivery mindset. Ability to independently create features, manage integrations, and address intricate system challenges. Familiarity with conversational AI or LLM technologies is highly desirable. A good understanding of SOC 2 compliance and privacy-conscious design practices is an additional advantage. Attractive base salary with equity options. This position is uniquely tailored for engineers who excel in independent work and are passionate about delivering high-quality, production-ready features through every layer of the tech stack. You will play an integral part in developing vital systems and advancing our platform architecture during a pivotal growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver full-stack functionalities utilizing our Django + React platform.
- Develop integrations with external services like OpenAI, Deepgram, and Twilio.
- Improve and maintain large language model (LLM) pipelines, focusing on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and data anonymization processes.
- Participate in transitioning from a monolithic architecture to a microservices structure.
- Work closely with Product and Design teams to quickly iterate and deliver features with minimal meetings.
- Independently oversee features from conceptualization to deployment.
