Cloud Solutions Architect – Systems Integration, Inc. (SII)
Systems Integration, Inc. (SII) is a leading provider of customer experience, data analytics and digital transformation solutions. We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the definitive source of technical knowledge and expertise across FBI systems, data analytics platforms, and enterprise technologies. This role is central to advancing ITBI's (FBI's IT Business Intelligence) strategic direction in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics. The SME will act as a technical ambassador, guiding development teams and advising government leadership on complex challenges.
Responsibilities
Lead teams in planning, designing, building, testing, and deploying enterprise Microsoft technologies in cloud environments
Apply deep functional and technical expertise to design systems that meet ITBI's evolving needs
Provide strategic planning for large‑scale projects or major segments of complex initiatives
Ensure continuity of technical direction across multiple development teams contributing to unified applications
Advise government stakeholders on strategic technical direction and best practices
Develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems using industry standards
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of production systems and assess the impact of future changes
Document solutions and project plans for implementation by development teams
Guide development teams through full lifecycle implementation
Track progress toward schedule milestones and ensure timely delivery
Assist in preparing strategic planning documentation, including OMB Form 300
Qualifications
Must be US Citizen
Requires a Top‑Secret clearance (SCI Poly may be required later)
Expertise in infrastructure solutions related to Microsoft platforms, cloud technologies, system security, and enterprise directories
Strong knowledge of operations management, systems testing, databases, and mobile technologies
Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams
Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences
Experience initiating and managing complex projects from inception to completion
Ability to provide strategic advice and technical guidance to program and project staff
Skilled in conducting detailed analysis and recommending improvements for mission‑critical systems
Experience consulting with clients to define needs, lead studies, and deliver actionable solutions
Demonstrated decision‑making and domain expertise with critical impact on project success
Supervisory experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and technical execution
May include supervisory responsibilities
Minimum of 10 years' experience supporting projects of similar size and scope
Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field
Master's degree preferred
