Insurance Claims Specialist

Client is looking for an experienced Insurance Claims Specialist for a 45-month long contract basis in Oak Brook, Illinois. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Risk Management team during a high-volume claims period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claims management and risk compliance, with the ability to effectively coordinate between internal departments and external claims adjusters. Responsibilities include managing the submission and tracking of incident and accident reports, conducting detailed follow-ups, acting as the primary point of contact, participating in litigation calls, maintaining accurate records, monitoring claims activity, assisting with compliance and reporting requirements, coordinating deductible reimbursement processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and distributing claim-related documentation.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience in claims management, strong knowledge of workers' compensation, general liability, property claims, and pollution claims, proficiency in using claims management systems, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to maintain organized and accurate records, familiarity with OSHA regulations and accident investigation procedures, solid understanding of liability insurance and deductible reimbursement processes, and strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
