Job Summary / Company :
Sparks Group has partnered with a fabrication company in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania and together we are recruiting for an Industrial Electrician to support manufacturing operations by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities :
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, sensors, and power distribution systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Troubleshoot AC / DC systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial control systems
- Ensure all electrical work complies with OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvement projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as required
Qualifications :
Journeyman Electrician status or equivalent industrial electrical experienceMinimum 3–5 years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniquesAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsExperience working with PLCs, motors, VFDs, and industrial automation systemsStrong understanding of electrical safety practices and lockout / tagout proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours as neededPreferred Qualifications :
Union manufacturing experienceExperience in plastics, extrusion, or injection molding environmentsPLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)Electrical certification or technical trade school trainingBenefits :
