ICU nursing experience
Description :
This position involves caring for high acuity patients, including those on ventilators.
You will assist with intubation and bronchoscopy at the bedside.
You will perform SLED TEE and cardioversions.
The unit typically has a staffing ratio of 2 : 1 but may surge to 1 : 3.
There will be opportunities to collaborate within a team of 3-5 RNs during shifts.
A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to changes are essential for success in this role.
High energy and strong critical thinking skills are highly valued.
Floating to PCU and telemetry will be required, as well as holding patients in the ER.
There is a requirement to work every other weekend with no on-call duties.
