Import/Export Coordinator

Work Location: Torrance, CA / In person (2 days/week Remote)

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time 9:00 – 17:00 （1 hour lunch break) 35 hrs/week

Job description:

Leading International Freight Forwarder seeking an Import Export Air & Ocean Coordinator responsible for monitoring port to port international cargo at their brand new facility.

Job Duties for Air & Ocean Export Import Coordinator:

• Communicate with customers & vendors to coordinate high volume ocean and air import and export shipment
• Record and monitor shipping details on company system
• Schedule daily cargo pickup & delivery
• Act as a liaison by providing assistance to sales representatives and customers
• Generating shipping documentations such as Ocean BL, Airway Bills, other export / import documentations & commercial invoices

Requirements for Air & Ocean Export Import Coordinator :

• 1 - 3 years of exporting experience
• Capable of using Microsoft Word & Excel
• Oral and written Japanese at a professional level is a plus but not required
• Any other Asian language is a plus
